Spring Gala 2023

We’re still in awe of all the support and energy that over 360 outstanding friends of Raphael House brought to the Palace Hotel on Saturday. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $870,000 for our programs!

Our annual gala is our largest fundraiser of the year, supporting our mission to provide customized solutions to the families we serve. Thank you for being a part of the Raphael House community and building the safety net for Bay Area families.

Thanks to you, 94% of Raphael House families transitioned from our Residential Shelter to stable housing this past year.

As a privately funded organization, this achievement wouldn’t be possible without your support!

Community Impact Award Honoree

We are thrilled to have honored Kate Smith with this year’s Community Impact Award.

Kate is a passionate advocate for families and has been involved with Raphael House for over 20 years as a volunteer, board member, and as board chair; she remains active as a board member emerita. Her most impactful projects include the renovation of Raphael House’s kitchen, The Father David and Elaine Lowell Children’s Library, The Ella Rigney Library and board room, and expansion of the third-floor residential rooms.

We are grateful for her optimism, community-driven spirit, and her dedication to our families.
