Community Luncheons

This is a casual gathering of Raphael House volunteers, friends and donors who want to learn more about our work. The luncheon will start with a tour and will be followed by a home-cooked meal prepared by a Raphael House Chef. During lunch, Anna Hurtado, our Director of AfterCare Services, will discuss our work and share some of her favorite stories. Feel free to bring a guest or colleague.

Amanda King Concert Benefiting Raphael House

Amanda King is a past resident of Raphael House and now an avid supporter of our services. We love her music and are excited to share with everyone.

Amanda is a classic chanteuse who performs little known gems from the 1930’s and 40’s as well as standards from the Great American Songbook. Possessing a smoothness of voice and surety of style, she has been hailed in the San Francisco Sentinel as "the right voice for the best in American songwriting”. Passionate about finding and preserving her treasury of vintage songs, Amanda masterfully interprets the music she loves.

Benefit Breakfast

The Benefit Breakfast is an important element of our fundraising goals and it helps us augment the increased costs for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Proceeds from events such as the benefit breakfast, are crucial to aid Raphael House’s programs including:  food and shelter for the children and their parents, children’s programs, and financial education for the parents to help end the cycle of poverty.

One Home, Many Hearts Gala

Our “One Home, Many Hearts” Gala is a festive black-tie evening featuring champagne reception, silent and live auctions, hosted bar, dinner that will please the most epicurean of diners, and dancing. It is a jovial and elegant event, and once again, we expect a sold-out gathering of 350 people.
